Hey all,

This is barely deserving of the "alpha" status, but we are letting you give Shamrock a test drive... sort of. Most of you are familiar with RuneCrypt's unique price graphing system (nearly 200,000 graphs have already been generated in the pre-launch of shamrock), and I doubt it will come as a surprise to you that we have been hard at work transferring this technology for a new aspect of the game: hiscores. With this new application of the graphing technology, you will be able to track exactly how your stats and ranks are changing, and compare them to other players in a way not offered by any of the comparison features found on RuneScape.com or any other fan sites.

So here's the scoop. I'm not going to show you any preview of these graphs just yet, because frankly they are still quite buggy, and also we want some more data to test on! To solve the second issue, we are inviting you to sign up your runescape account(s) to be tracked. This service will continue, of course, after shamrock is released, but you will be ahead of the game so for all the features you will have a large sample of data already collected for your account.

Also, at first it doesn't recognize that I am already tracking my RS account but if I try to add Cryptical_X again it says it is already tracking.

So how long does this take to "track"? Or is that all we do is to just type in the RS account and that's it?

And yeah, all you can do for now is track the players and then when shamrock is released we will have stats in our database for a longer period of time. Basically we're just giving you a jump on the action, and helping us by giving us more data to test with.

It's because Cecchi has created a set of hiscores graphs like the price charts. It's top secret so if I showed you I'd have to kill you. Or at least remove your tongue and your hands to stop you telling anyone what you saw.

But since these graphs do everything (Imagine runemonkey crossed with price graphs crossed with RS hiscores crossed with Jessica Alba) it's difficult to know they completely work already. As such Cecchi needs to get as much data from people as he can to test it's all working. Testing it requires people playing RS to be submitting their xp/levels to be tracked by the graphs and checking that everything is working right and no shit is hitting any fans. Hence why you're signing up and seeing absolutely nothing. But you will see all the results from the date you sign up when the final product is released.

Lmao. This can at least be remembered as the biggest failure of a release in RC history. The good news is, even through all those stupid errors I've gotten some of your RS accounts stored and the graphs are improving already as a result of that.

Edit: The source of most of the troubles was just that people were trying to enter accounts when they weren't logged into RC, so I've added a little thingy to force you to login if you are not already. Yep, it's pretty likely I caused another 5 errors in the process, so when you find them just post them here in a whiny tone.

I actually checked it out. You added it, but because of the glitch it is getting tracked without being linked to your account. You'll have a chance to fix all that when shamrock is released but for now theres nothing to worry about.
