Well I recovered an old account recently.
when I play on runescape, i will be killing monsters or something, not being afk, and it will freeze, not let me walk anywhere, and then just randomly log me out. There's no message saying "loading please wait" or "connection lost - waiting to reestablish" It does this on all the computers. I am guessing that there's and internet problem or maybe some other problem. Happens wireless and wired I have updated my java. Are there any fixes to this problem?

Try completely removing Java, there is some program around to do that. then reinstall it.

If you're using a Windows OS go to My Computer and "Add/Remove Programs" and uninstall Java, then try again.

I've looked it up, it won't work for me.

What's wrong now?
Kev
the problem persists

Try using other Java software and see if it freezes on those too. Or you can try contacting your ISP and see what they have to say about it.

Different browser?
Kev
tried chrome, IE, Firefox, alll of which are the latest versions.

Try using a proxy, that helped with the same problem for my school's computers. It will still freeze up, but not during gameplay, only during the load occasionaly.
Rob
I could understand this if you were only using wireless internet, but wired as well makes no sense. =z

So first of all go to your C:\ drive and delete the folder "Jagex_cache_32", then go to your user area in documents and settings and delete "Jagex runescape preferences.dat". You'll need to rechoose your settings when you next play RS but if there're any corrupt bits crashing your RS that ought to remove them.

Have you yet tried using the Jagex Downloadable Browser?
Kev
The downloadable browser doesn't log me out at all..
Thanks!
