I'm not sure what happened, but when I ran ccleaner, my icons messed up. Ontop of every picture there's an image that i can seem to get off.

Do you use any aftermarket programs that change default icons and/or other default looks (themese/cursors/icons/etc etc)? Or doing anything of that sort before you ran ccleaner?

yes, I have vista shortcut manager, it removes the retarded looking shortcut arrows. I tried to use change it back to regular but nothing would work

Yeah, its the shortcut remover for sure, because its a bad image trying to be pasted over all the images.

I'd look at this page:

and try to fix the registry manually (obviously be careful...). CCleaner must have removed the registry key that your program set, messing things up, but that shouldn't happen if you do it manually - I've done it on my computer and it works fine for me.
