Clouds at the top could be lightened a bit, they kinda draw the initial attention away from everything else.

I love it, the eagle's rendering is kinda choppy though but it's not that noticeable.
btw did you base the name on the song by Iron Maiden?
The front floating temple's a bit rough too. Is there any way you could just smoothen the edges and work on the blending on that one? At the moment that one island looks very 2D.
Also, does it really need all the negative space at the top? It just seems restrictive, which in the context of the piece, which seems to go on forever - just doesn't really fit.
Otherwise, very naise.

Looks pretty nice, and love the concept. But I second Rob on the sharp/rough edges of the floating temples.

I saw the title and the first thing i thought off was the movie
Where Eagles Dare - IMDB.
The image itself i like, just the title makes me personally think of the movie and doesnt describe the image in my head, Still, its a good image.

The song by IM did give me the idea for the title, but did not inspire the entire piece itself.
As for the sky, yeah I can see what you guys are talking about now. The top just unbalances the entire piece.
The temple- yeah I can see where it's a little rough. The eagle is oversharpened too. I'll try blurring some things here and there.
And the island does still look 2D, although I tried adding as many shadows and highlights I could to make it more 3Dish.

Well, the stock labeled as "Forest" was used around the temples.
What you cant see is the Valley. Fgt

It's nice but the focal length of the image is Phoronidaed up making it obvious it's a paste.
