Official Website. - Video looks cewl-ish. The official trailer and info and stuff will be leaked on July 24th 2009.

Wow, I don't like the overall look of the graphics but here it is. I havent played the typical ones, only Generals and Generals: Zero Hour which are rebels to the rest of the series. They don't have Tiberium, an ore in all other versions, and they don't have the constantly recurring villains from the older versions of the game. However, Tiberium Wars 3 and Red Alert 3 brought all of the old stuff back in modern gaming, and it seems that the story continues with this. I hope you don't need to know the old storyline to play this version. Apparently Command and Conquer was the first real-tiem strategy game, and has been running for 15 years. ohmy.gif

So I don't know too much about it, so after that, to the great grief of everybody on the forum, I'm going to quote somebody else's post on it. whistle.gif

Spoiler - Read if you dare!:

And I thought they said Mammoth Mk.2 Tanks were impractical huh?
Thoughts?

EDIT: Oh and this, a little discussion I had with someone who initially showed it to me:
QUOTE
--: one thing though.... seems they are going with RA3 style cliffs again, judging by the cliffs in the BG
Caescen: I wonder how the scaling is supposed to be though.
--: still unrealistic I suppose
Caescen: First you got a giant walking base, or whatever it is, then you got tiny tanks, a little bigger titan/wolverine, a HUGE MOTHER FAWKING SHIP NEXT TO THE BATTLE, and some ramp 10x bigger than the cliffs.
--: The infantry-like Nod things appear to be robots with energy shields
--: and yeah huge ramp
--: its a superstructure
Caescen: I'm betting it is also used as a missile silo.
--: lol

EDIT 2:
Perhaps some of you have done a survey thing from EA that was sent to your e-mail a number of weeks ago? Well, nevertheless they took all the ideas from that and put it in:
Mobile bases, class system, five-on-five multiplayer, persistent experience points and co-op campaigns.

I'm wondering how it works out. Does sound more original than what EA usually throws at us. What I'm more wondering about is what they're going to do with the story this time, Command and Conquer 3's and Kane's Wrath's were a little pathetic.

Just looked there. Kane looks evil. He has RED GLOWING EYES.
He so went cyborg.

And the black hand dude here:

Meh. One of those series I never got into..Should I?
Benjy
Played Genrals: Zero Hour, and I liked it for a while, but eventually it just gets old (especially if you pirate it and don't get multiplayer). I wanted Red Alert 3, but it got sort of both ways reviews.

I never got into the series either. I just played Generals: Zero Hour.

Benjy, I have never actually played multiplayer because you need to download the latest patch or whatever, and then I restart and open it (after downloading) and says I still need to download the latest patch. Again and again.... I gave up.
