Wow. Really good for lack of a better phrase that doesn't make me sound more noobish than necessary. At some points I get this nagging that something is slightly on a wrong angle - such as:

The distance between the B string and the bottom of the fretboard seems to change as you look up the fretboard.
The treble E string disappears, and then reappears, and between the end thing and where it connects to the pegs, it seems to just randomly curve in the middle.
The bridge seems to have no light reflection on it. Seem too dull.

Other than that, read the first line of my post so I don't sound like an idiot repeating myself!

not sure how can you see that the distance of the B string is changing but it's probably the fact that this is slighting distorted. It has a wide lens prospective... so It's not geometrically correct. That's why the E string almost converges on the edge of the fretboard, if you load the full sized version you can see it clearly.

as to lighting, nothing is harshly lightened since the light source comes just above the guitar and a little behind it from the top-right corner... everything but the tuning bolts and heads, knobs and pickup selector switch doesn't get most of the lighting. you can see the changes in tone on each gate of the bridge, just that from that light source adding stronger highlights would have made it look less natural.

How big did you start?

What do you mean? what canvas size? like 3K by 5K large enough for me to control it easily and still have enough detail to do the screws, some of them have 8 layers of highlights and shadows.

But since it's all vectors, it's totally scalable.
