So I've been wanting a newer, bigger, better, monitor for quite some time now. I was going to get my stepdad's old monitor, but as I set it up earlier, I found that it was broken. And, no, it isn't my computer, cords, anything but the monitor.

So I've been looking around but can't really seem to find one that I really want. I want something that is probably at least 19" (flat screen of course), is HD compatible, and that has ATSC/NTSC tuners for watching TV.

I don't want to spend any more than $250 USD. This is quite similar to what I'm looking for:

I want a tv tuner. I don't care if they're expensive.

Samsung T2000HD. 20" monitor, I just found it for $255 on Amazon so you can easily get it cheaper.

I've got the T2200HD which has two HDMI ports, VGA, DVI, Digital/Analogue TV-tuner and looks the prettiest thing you'll ever see.T2000HD is the same just 2" smaller. Make sure you look at the HD rather than the T2000. T2000 is just a plan monitor without HDMI ports or a TV tuner or anything.

Only down side to it is that there's no option to tilt it when it's on the stand, but that can be easily remedied with some creative carpentry.

It's T200HD tbh, not 2000. I showed him the T220, but didn't know there was a 20" version as well, might want to go for that then.

It looks just about what I'm looking for but Newegg doesn't have any in stock so they don't even have a price listed. I'll keep looking, though.

Blah. I was guessing at numbers. sad.gif They have them in a truckload of sizes up to a 42" as I recall.

look for what's on sale H.gif

for best prices wait till one of the large companies like Samsung or whatnot come out with a new series of monitor and buy the old series... instant 25% savings.
