Since I've been playing RS there has always been High Detail and Low Detail. Last summer came the arrival of full screen and a major graphics upgrade. With low detail now being called standard detail - each set of graphics/detail have their own advantages.


I personally play on high detail, but not full screen. The full screen tends to lag me when in crowded areas such as the grand exchange.

I play on Standard Detail, you might want to change the colour of your text as it clash's with the background.

Standard Detail has always been the best for me.

Standard detail, just because my PC can't handle HD. Yes, my PC sucks.
And please change your text colour to black.

High detail. Full screen.

Well this certainly was interesting.

I am appalled that there is no 'old school' option.

The High Detail that isn't full screen, but isn't boxed...if that makes sense.

High detail in the screensize that fills your browser.

I use standard detail because it is awesome.

I use High detail full screen but I fix it to make it smaller. If it is completely full screen, it lags. Plus I like to browse websites while playing at the same time.

Low detail is where its at. I did use large window'd high detail when playing barb assault so I could see the entire field at once. And then I played high detail small screen the day it was released. Then I quit for a while due to the character model changes/

I use High Detail in the RuneScape Client. You have a window with nothing but RuneScape and 1 add, you can resize it to your wishes, and on full it is closer to fullscreen than your browser is.

High Detail for me, standard is just so blughh.

used to use old high detail, wasn't laggy, now I use small high detail and lag so bad I cant run, I more or less take a step, pause, step, pause.

normal detail, because im used to it >_<

I play Low Detail because my computer cant go High Def.

Also, regular high detail is low detail with all setting maxed

Definitely use standard detail.

I think thats the way its supposed to look. Its wat made the game for me.
