In more formal text based news, GamesRadar has made a report on things to expect in multiplayer
here.A
quick overview of what they got that other people have missed:
Riot Shield - This takes the place of your primary weapon for antibullet goodness, when using your secondary weapon, it gets slung on your back and stops bullets from behind.
Secondary Weapons - Are no longer limited to handguns, you can have shotguns and explosives too.
Silenced Snipers and Shotguns - Yes, you heard correctly, apparently they saw some No Country For Old Men.
Death Streak - Now when you die without getting any kills, you get
rewards handicaps to help you turn the tide.
Bling - Perk that allows for two attachments
Perk Challenges - Complete a challenge for a perk you have to unlock its Pro version.
Tactical Insertion - Use this special grenade to leave a marker that, if not destroyed, allows you to spawn at it when you die.
Destructable Aircraft - Give that enemy UAV the middle finger with a well placed RPG, no word on higher caliber guns having an effect though.
Rewards for Things Other Than Kills Distract an enemy while your team takes him down? +Xp. Shoot down aircraft? +Xp.
Callsigns - Includes a title, insignia, background, gamertag, and level. All that determined by what you do online.
In other not nearly as exciting news, there's now an official limited edition Xbox360 for this game
available for preorder. It comes with the 250G Xbox, normal edition of Modern Warfare 2, 2 wireless controllers, a wired headset, and other small cables. At $400, you might just wanna buy the prestige edition and secondhand 360 stuff.
And on one last note, UK residents will see some exclisive love.
game.co.uk will market the veteran edition along with a code for downloading Call of Duty Classic, and a 12 inch tall statue of Soap McTavish. Its only available for GAME reward card customers though.
