So.
I recently bought a laptop... 2ish months ago.
No problems.
Until recently.
I've had my mouse since I bought the laptop, and nothing.
But over the past 3 days, any time I remove the USB wireless receiver for it, the OS (Vista) crashes.
Any suggestions? For now, I'll just go mouseless, as its no big deal.

Does Vista just completely freeze, or flat out crashes?
What is the brand of the mouse?
Just the first 2 things coming to my mind atm.

Do you remove it
properly?
ie: stop and disconnect hardware

Its because you are Jewish and the mouse is most likely from the Eastern European area.

No Mark.
Vista flat out crashes. Computer BSOD's and then reboots itself.
And its a Microsoft Arc mouse.
I'm downloading an update for Vista I apparently missed, hopefully this will fix it.

ive had no problems with my vista laptop, it was dropped and the screen wouldn't dim or brighten, but I restarted it and it worked, also another tip, if it crashes when you remove your mouse, DONT REMOVE YOUR MOUSE!

(just
HAD to be a smartass there

Don't remove the mouse.
Edit: Wow, I failed, somebody already said it.
