This was an art project that we did. First we took a "test" to determine what color we mostly were and I turned out to be blue. Each color represented personality traits but I'm not going to get into that. Anyways, this took me about a week to make just working on it in class.

Items used:
12 X 9 Canson Paper on the textured side.
Prisma Colors and blending tool.

The scanner I used is better quality than mine. But it still doesn't show most of the contrast and detail sadly as well as the quality of the drawing in real life. I was debating whether or not to edit some things in Gimp or not, but I decided not to. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy.

Nice tones on the face, really good. Only complaints is lack of any real anatomical definition on the face, like brow etc? face seems smooth with logical areas of shading rather than being properly defined. Not too keen on how monotonous the hair is, but for all I know thats how "perfect" your hair is

I like the background red bubbles.

Thanks for the critics Henry. The reference picture was taken from my camera phone, lol. I liked the pose but hated the light source. I was too lazy to experiment with different light sources so I stuck with the horrible pillow shaded one.

I have to agree with the hair and eyebrow comment. Honestly, I'm no good at hair. I tried to give it contrast but It didn't seem to work. The white Prisma pencil I used to give it high lights just weren't working out like I wanted it to.

Thanks for the comment again. I'm not technically done with it. There are parts that I hate and I know I need to fix them. :S

Har har, Remon, yea that's what I used. I don't have many pictures of myself so I used that. Also Mark, if I were Two-Face, I wouldn't post a picture that could possibly reveal that.

The nose looks flat and kind of broken... I'd work on the shading around your nose. Also that's a dark shade under your lip and looks like you got cut or something and probably should have gone lighter there... probably would have gone darker on the shirt too... other then that not bad.
