Standing Brooms

I just went and tried it and it works! I've looked around online and many people are saying the phenomenon is using certain forces with how the planets are aligned or something like that. It just looks wicked awesome going into my kitchen and it's still standing.

Notice that they show her moving the broom, and show it standing, but never show them standing it up and leaving it.

But technically if the britles were straight it could stand, and if they could be conveniently placed to counterbalance the weight of the leaning handle. Its like balancing a piece of paper upright (albeit slightly concave).
