May I ask why we need a language filter? I'm sure if you know what "f-word" means, then seeing the other 3 letters typed out won't hurt you.

Well IAMAOM, I believe the filters are actually here for a reason. I am fairly certain that whoever helps sponsor and support our site has deemed it necessary to have certain words gone from the site. In our case we filter these words that these sponsors don't want to see on the site. If they are not filtered and they see these said words, they may stop sponsoring our site and make us lose money for hosting.

Plus I think it's still good to have some naughty words filtered for the younger kids who may visit our site as guests. They don't really need to be exposed to that kind of language.

I think it gives the word more meaning... Phoronidaing leave the filter.
