If it didn't meet their expectations, I wonder how it would have gone with the players' expectations.
It's not canceled really. Rather, the name mechscape is scrapped and now they're reworking the game under a new name.
So they're canceling "Mechscape" but not the game as a whole.

This is mighty interesting.
After thinking about this, I came to the conclusion that Zybez got Phoronidaed over.
Mechscape was doomed from the start. It's a dumb idea. I like my Scapes in the past and with magic. Mechscape would just compete with the original and everything would suck.

They might as well can the project as a whole and let Zynga take over the world. That might make things easier.

Personally, I like the new name and logo better. MechScape is just...bleh.

But still.. Stellar Dawn? Really? It sounds like some over-exaggerated RPG, not a fun game. They may as well call it 'Blissful Destiny' imo
