That's pretty impressive really; though I wish we could do that without needing to use liquid helium to keep the proc cool.
Matthew
Please explain.
Matt
Well its impressive simply because it broke the world record for 3dmark06 - which benchmarks a computers ability to play games. (Its safe to assume that a computer that scores higher on 3dmark06 would play a given game better then a computer that scores lower, but that's actually debateable.

As far as wishing it could be done without using liquid HE, well its slightly impractical for anyone to actually achieve that level of performance in any 'real world' situation - since the liquid HE is reverting to a gas state (as seen in the video) rather quickly, which means even if someone -did- try to play a game with that rig, it would only stay cool for as long as the liquid HE could be supplied. (I'd imagine that if their computer was placed in a more enclosed space such as in a bedroom, the amount of HE in the air would eventually become enough to give you the same effect as breathing in a helium balloon then speaking. tongue.gif

I think they should have tested Crysis Warhead on full quality. cool.gif

Unfortunately, 7.0GHz and it still cant run Cod4 well.

Oh well biggrin.gif
I am me and only me
Now, the point of this is...?
Saebjorn
Awesomeness.

Why can't it run Cod4? There were no other specific details given about the used system that I remember off the top of my head.
Foo
Wouldn't 7.088 be rounded to 7.09?
Saebjorn
To me it looks more of 7.068. But that still doesn't answer the question.

If it were 7. 068 then it would be 7.07... tongue.gif

It's 7.088, just zoom in and you'll see.

Amazing.
Saebjorn
You zoomed in wrong. wink.gif The first alleged 8 is not connected on the right side. It is, in fact a six. I suggest you repeat your education from the first grade and see how things run. wink.gif
Maarten
Actually you may be right, really hard to see, I guess everyone sees what they want to see.
Matthew
THIS IS IN FACT A 7068.0 MHz!!!!!!!!!!!
Saebjorn
Yes, yes it is.
